The 94 WIP Morning Show is breaking down the last few days of Phillies drama surrounding Nick Castellanos. On Monday, It seemed like Rob Thomson was taking a more aggressive approach at managing by making late-game defensive changes. Nick Castellanos, frustrated about being pulled, made an "inappropriate comment" and was benched the following game on Tuesday. Last night (Wednesday), the Phillies were in a similar situation late in the game, and Castellanos was left in the game instead of being pulled. Joe DeCamara thinks it was weak for Thomson to leave Castellanos in the game instead of sticking with the more aggressive strategy he employed two days earlier just because Castellanos got upset.
