Federal Judge Overturns Karl Jordan Juniors Murder Conviction in Jam Master Jay CaseA federal judge has overturned Karl Jordan Juniors murder conviction in the 2002 killing of Run-DMC DJ Jam Master Jay. Judge LaShann DeArcy Hall ruled that prosecutors did not provide enough evidence to prove Jordans motive in the murder. Meanwhile, Judge DeArcy Hall denied requests for acquittal and a new trial for Ronald Washington, the other man convicted in the case. Jordan, who was awaiting sentencing, is currently in custody. The Department of Justice is reviewing the decision.
