Legal Brief: Reasonably Shady, Bad Mormons
This legal brief covers two similar but unrelated trademark disputes in the reality tv and pop culture universe. First, Robyn and Gizelle of the Real Housewives of Potomac are facing a challenge to their trademark for their podcast, "Reasonably Shady" from no other than Eminem, or the Real Slim Shady. Next, Heather Gay of the Real Housewives of Salt Lake City recently sought a trademark for, "Bad Mormon" but quickly received an opposition by the Mormon Church itself. This is a quick form episode to give you the highlights and some initial thoughts as both disputes are in their early stages.
