I knew Richard and Danielle from living in the area, and having mutual friends. one of my best friends was with them the night they disappeared. this is one of those stories you always read about, or see on TV, and you can't imagine it could happen to people you know. it's been so long and there have been so many stories and rumors, you can't remember what's true and what's fiction. some of the theories floated in circles around here have been, that Rich was somehow involved with organized crime, and they were followed, abducted and disposed of professionally. That theory doesn't make sense because if Rich was dealing with the Mob, and he owed money, or just needed to go, the mob wouldn't take him out while he was with Danielle. Anytime there seems to be a murder of an Italian guy that isn't solved they claim it's a professional "mob" hit. While there is certainly a lot of organized crime in the NJ, Philly area, it's not a big as it was in the 70s and 80s. There was also the theory tha

i love this podcast but the poor produxtion where it repeata and cuta out stuff is getting out of hand
