My emcees will remember Corey Belin from Episode 24, and his pot-stirring male perspective in the conversation of dating after divorce or separation! After that show Corey pitched online dating to me as a show idea. You’ve seen Corey on Ninja Warrior, and season 4 of the Oprah Winfrey Network TV show, Ready to Love. Now he’s producing a hilariously scripted comedy "tightly based" on his life and experience with online dating and navigating the first date! He now calls himself the First Date King. Midway through our conversation I bring in my second guest, Dr. Kayra Alvarado–an educator and influencer who also served as a community marketing manager with Bumble–to empower women to make the first move, and to confidently move off the app and into first dates.
