I can't believe it took 261 episodes to talk baseball on this show. I'm hanging my head in shame. But what better way to right that wrong than by talking one of the best ball games of all-time in Ken Griffey Jr Presents Major League Baseball for the SNES??
I couldn't give half a damn about baseball when I was a kid, but I still liked the video games. Black box baseball on the NES was fun, and Extra Innings on the SNES was a good time, but Griffey was always my jam. I loved the home run derby, the simple controls, and thanks to The Simpsons, I even knew who the guy on the box was!
My buddy Brad (NBA Jam, Contra) returns to the show this week to talk another sports game. Another GREAT sports game. It's all about hitting dingers this week, fuck yeah!
And before we argue with umps over the obviously bullshit strike zone in this game, I swing through another edition of the Infamous Intro!
This week, we talk about the future of VR. Someone asks ME for dating advice!? And what are games worth here in Canada these days???
Plus we play another round of 'Play One, Remake One, Erase One', too! This one features 3 SNES sports classics: NBA Jam: Tournament Edition, NHL 94, and Tecmo Super Bowl.
