It's a night of championship matches on Thunder as Madusa defends the WCW Cruiserweight championship against Asya, Jeff Jarrett of the nWo defends the US Heavyweight championship against Norman Smiley in a Bunkhouse Brawl, and newly crowned World Tag Team champions David Flair & Crowbar defend against Billy Kidman & Konnan of The Filthy Animals.
