They claim the defendants promised them the fireplaces and chimneys were in good working order, but they were actually fire hazards. They’re suing for the thousands it will cost them to make repairs. The defendants claim the plaintiffs had the home inspected and all the issues were resolved, so they don’t understand why they’re now suing nine months later. They deny owing anything.
