Spoon has held a range of prominent positions across the sports and digital media industry. Prior to Yahoo, Spoon was the COO at Sorare, a trailblazer in NFT-based fantasy sports. Spoon played a critical role in Sorare's expansion into the U.S. market, fostering the growth of the global football game, and launching Sorare: NBA and Sorare: MLB. Prior to Sorare, Spoon served as the COO of BetMGM, one of the leading sportsbook and iGaming operators. During his tenure, BetMGM was the second largest sportsbook and iGaming operator across the markets it operated in. He also spent more than eight years at ESPN as Senior Vice President of Digital & Social, overseeing digital editorial, performance and strategy. Spoon also helped shape ESPN’s digital experiences, mobile applications and fantasy games.
