I will say this....Sara was a total victim in this relationship and what Dick did was disgusting, abusive, and God-forbid, could have led to physical abuse eventually. But this all brings up so much for me as an African American listener. How often do we non-Black/ non-disabled people allow our non-Black or non-disabled friends/partners to use racial or disability slurs? If this were a red flag, it would save us a lot of headache. Be an ally & don't allow it around you!

Well, I’ve listened to this and every episode I kept waiting for the big reveal. What the AF? This story could have been told in one episode. Definitely not Dateline worthy. The big thing he did was pretend he was his fake best friend and changed a few passwords. And then.... Who in their right mind would just start texting a random person they’ve never met or actually spoken to? My ex was a nurse and he pretended to have a deadly brain tumor. Showed me real MRI scans. Looked sick, was taking time off work. Turns out, he was a drug addict. Using massive amounts of oxy. I filed for divorce right before his “expiration date” and made me out to be cold hearted b****. But guess what, I delt with it and moved on. Shortly after, he overdosed and passed away. The point is....move on. Don’t make a pod cast. 😆
