A very interesting podcast, i hope the family can find some kind of explanation as to what happened. In my mind; the most likely explanation is that he was abducted by a paedophile (which is also the worst case). The predator must have behaved in a opportunistic (and therefore disorganised) manner because in the interview the man said they hadn't planned to go fishing that day but changed their plans at the last minute. So the crime was unlikely to have been pre-planned. Maybe searching for records of known paedophiles in the area at the time, who behaved in an opportunistic manner may open up some avenues of enquiry? I think the second likely scenario is that a wild animal attacked him (although i would like to know further information as to if there were any types of animal predator which drag off their prey (rather than consuming prey on the spot and leaving evidence behind)). For the reason that no blood or other evidence was left behind, this makes me feel that the wild animal t
love the podcast guys, but I have to ask about the song at the beginning/end. who is it/where is it from? not trying to hurt anyone's feelings but it's a little much.
