Why is everyone still asking all these questions about Sam?? Did you guys miss the part where they found Ashley's bloody shorts in Tee/Paul's trailer and all the shit about that dude.... I of course can't rule out that Sam had nothing to do with it but its starting to point way more towards Tee and Paul at this point. Keep in mind that wasn't a random person telling a story about something they heard, that was her sister and nobody else knew so far. Paul either did get Tee out of town so they could say she wasn't even in town, or its just total bullshit made up by both.

also I just want to say I also believe Sam because when I hear him speak I hear pain of like a love lost or a friend lost that he feels guilty for but not in a responsible way but in a man if I would have just stayed awake if I would have just done more. it isn't his fault because evil happens and he could have been killed to had he not been asleep maybe the person was able to lure her away and they didn't feel like they need to do anything since he didn't seem to be aware of what was going on so they probably just saw okay we'll just blame it on him cuz he's with her. but I believe him I I truly believe that he's been hurting all these years wondering what happened to her and just like her family I really hope they get answers soon and I appreciate podcast because it's bringing me a lot of missing indigenous women cases to the Forefront because other people I've talked to or like yeah I'm looking up like different ones in different parts of the country and listen to other podcast about them I'm just looking up cases about how there are so many that just aren't being addressed

sometimes I wish we heard the entire interviews, because the way the interviews are edited for the podcast I leave them feeling like Payne is gullible. because basically he's a guy who just so happened upon this because of Tara grinstead case but he's not a journalist by trade or a detective by trade. He just wanted to get involved which is great and he does a great job I'm just saying sometimes I feel some of these people are playing him and doesn't have the same gut instincts as a 30-year veteran detective that would sit and talk to these people and be like yeah this just doesn't smell right this person is full of it you know like sometimes detectives just listen to people and they're like yeah you're full of crap dude.

Personally, I believe Sam. He had been partying for days. He probably did just close his eyes to rest and he probably did fall sleep. I believe that she was supposed to wake him up but she didn’t. I am highly suspicious of T and Paul. I feel they had something to do with Ashley‘s disappearance. T is temperamental and has been known to become violent esp when she gets jealous.
