This one was rough for me.
Afsaaneh, 45 years old, killed by her brother who is btw a university professor in Iran, because she "liked to party way too much." He only got 3 years in jail. appalling and unfathomable. This is the kind of sick situation women in Iran are dealing with on the daily. Jennifer's case disgusted me to my core and reminded me of poor Afsaaneh, who will never get the justice she deserves. Domestic violence is serious, be it in Iran or The U.S.
