Cool story as always. But I don't get it. The apartment seemed eccentric, quirky and strange in a way that would have had me too intrigued to leave. I didn't get a creepy, unnerving wtf vibe from it. Or was that the point? He was exaggerating in his mind the strangeness of the place? The other sense I got was that perhaps the building was sort of stuck in time or some inexplicable spacetime anomaly or something? 🤷♀️
my only "dig" would be that someone who values a Bible wouldn't scrawl in all caps on the back cover of a Bible.
