Description

The fallout continues from last week’s Trump-inspired attack on the U.S. Capitol, as the House prepares to impeach Donald Trump for the second time, and the President’s personal Twitter account is banned forever. Then former Bernie Sanders campaign manager Faiz Shakir talks to Jon Favreau about how Joe Biden can get a progressive agenda through a closely divided Senate.

It is hard to put the toothpaste back in the tube, which is why it's so disappointing the riots over the summer were encouraged instead of immediately stopped. The same people who rioted at the capital watched riots going on all summer while democrats said things like "who said protests are supposed to be peaceful," "they're not gonna stop and they shouldn't stop," and "why violent protests work." They also blame Trump for inciting the riot while ignoring he said they need to peacefully protest. They were reading a list of weapons found but can't seem to put 2+2 together. These people came to the capital with these weapons wanting to cause trouble long before Trump even spoke, they just used Trump as cover for a reason to riot.
