I'm also really happy Kenji got some justice here but why didn't Danielle? because a guy must be telling the truth but the abuser's wife must be lying?
Kenji was right on the money. the system is broken and you basically do have to get hurt for them to do anything. if you die, that's even better 🙄
Why does nanny keep saying THEY
I just can’t with this 😒
Poor Kenji. Poor Danielle. 😞
she proposes because he won't (most men know right away if they want to ever marry you)... she pays "50/50" despite him being a millionaire (which makes it very much not 50/50 lol)... ladies, pickmeism will never get you anywhere in life, much less a relationship. if he wanted to, he would. I'm sorry this lady learned the hard way.
I was on her side till she called it a "sh*thole country". is someone forcing you to stay? I'm baffled. it's far from perfect but this is an astonishingly privileged attitude by someone who's clearly not got a clue how much worse it is in much of the world.
If this guy was so awful, why didn’t she just report him to the hospital for negligence? He was assisting in surgeries while under the influence. She still hasn’t reported him I’ll bet. What about the patients? She claims to want to be in the healthcare field. Patients don’t deserve the likes of either of them.
that is not what digital blackface is. it's pretending to be a black person when you're not, as well as mocking black stereotypes. it's silly for X race to use a Y colored emoji, I agree. but using the wrong skin color in your emoji is not inherently bigoted and using a reaction gif of a black person almost never is. I don't know how to spell the woman's name but she really ought to not try so hard to not walk on eggshells to seem open minded and educated.
the proposal thing is such a bad argument. I'm not saying crystal is a good person secretly obviously, but lots of people, myself included, are mortified by this sort of thing.
One of the most tragic and heartbreaking story out of all the stories I heard on this podcast. I hope and pray Diana that you are doing fine. God bless!
This is such a confusing episode to me, on one hand I feel sorry for her that she suffered as a result of this "Chad" but on the other hand, she also never really stopped talking to him even after so countless red flags. So the whole thing started because this "Chad" sexted her once and she didn't like it. She could have stopped talking to him right there. Even after that she continued talking to him, going out with him for drinks, giving in to his requests. Also, if this guy is so so bad as she claims why didn't she just go ahead and report him, get him fired, why did she think about his family and all. Something doesn't add up here imo(but it can just be me). What role did this guy play at the hospital, that is not clear at all. Also, why did this young lady think it was going to workout with him, you are 23 and this guy is 46. how did you buy into the lies that you and him were going to live together as one happy family with his highschooler son. That's just disturbing to me, sorry. If you have so many mental health struggles, the last thing you should be worried about is a relationship, that too with a 46 year old man. I hope you learn from your mistakes and make better decisions young lady.SomethingWasWrong
After listening to these episodes, it disgusts me the way society and the law treats women as victims of Domestic Violence. For that lawyer to say, what's the harm?? He kidnapped and raped her. What's the harm?? Utterly disgusting, and things need to change.
Girl YOU broke HIPAA laws and you should be held criminally liable for driving this man to perform surgery on someone knowing that he's drunk and you did nothing and said nothing about it. Disgusting both of you.
this poor girl, where were her friends? family? how do you teach self esteem? self worth?
wow .. I don't even know what to say about this one. Reminded me of me- I am sure a lot of us have been there. If only I had a support system. my parents were emotionally unavailable and that left me having to figure stuff out on my own. I am so glad she got the strength / help / growth to move on from that horrible person. if you have a daughter please tell them that there are people like "Chad" out there. And people like him don't deserve a second chance. ever.
Why are you sympathizing with this girl? Sometimes you have to call stupid stupid.
Glad she shared her story. I want her to know that being friendly and outgoing is not a "flaw" and it cannot be "your biggest flaw". It is a good quality that can be exploited. It can be a vulnerability. If we tell people that their good qualities are "flaws", we are essentially telling them that the abusers and exploiters are less at fault or not at fault.
I have all the sympathy and empathy for this woman because I stayed in terrible relationships too long in my 20s, too. The insecurity and mental illness are real. HOWEVER I start to lose empathy when she is on with him going into work drunk. Fucking seriously?! Ugh.
I really hope Blair is not the one murdered by Alex. Someone is going to get seriously hurt or killed. I'm so enraged that this wasn't reported.
