Mental Health And Our Youth
Update: 2022-03-30
Description
Our youth have experienced significant trauma during this pandemic. They have lost family members and educational gains. They gave begun to question the consistency of life. While many adults are struggling to return to a regular lifestyle, children and adolescents are expected to be resilient and bounce back without any mental injury. This is unrealistic. I reached out to a specialist to help us make a difference in these young lives. Cherese Allen is a graduate of The Houston Baptist University. She holds a Master of Arts in Counseling. Upon graduating she passed the board exam, NCE. She is a Licensed Professional Counselor Associate in the State of Texas, supervised by LaQuondra Patterson, LPC-S. She specializes in depression, anxiety, life changes, couples therapy, self-esteem and more for teens and adults. Listen, learn, and impact a life.
