A book is adapted for film the same way the artist altered the photo & made the sculpture more dramatic. It's effective. Offcourse the books are always better when compared to the movies. The same thing is happening here. I appreciate both pieces & the truth behind each one.
This is one of the many examples, that the culture of heroizing "victims", like the violent BLM protests, is mostly based on exaggerations and bending of facts. Political lies.
